Experience Built on Real Applications
orca GmbH began working with UVC disinfection systems in 1998, initially serving the German market as a subsidiary of sterilAir AG.
Over time, application requirements evolved. Early projects included:
- Large-scale air disinfection in meat processing
- Conveyor belt disinfection in cutting and packaging areas
This practical experience shaped UVpro’s application-driven engineering approach.
The Creation of UVpro
In 2013, the company was renamed orca GmbH and ended its sales cooperation with sterilAir AG.
In 2014, orca GmbH launched the UVpro product range, manufactured entirely in-house in Kürten near Cologne.
This allowed full control over design, quality, and application-specific adaptation.
